Workshops

There is nothing like getting hands-on to learn a new skill. I offer a variety of workshops from primary school all the way up to senior. The workshops vary from DIY cleaning products to creating something beautiful out of waste. All of the workshops are based around sustainability and participants will walk away with a new skill as well as why it is better for the environment. I have a few workshops that you can select from or if you require something specific I am open to accommodate that.

Courses

Workshops and presentations are a great introduction to many topics, but a course is a bit more of a deep dive into the topic with some hands-on experience.

Zero Waste Home Advice

If you want to start your journey with less waste and want to detox your house but not sure where to start, we've got you covered. Whether you want to reduce the amount of plastic you have in your kitchen, green your beauty routine or closet our one-on-one consultation will provide a safe space for new habits. This will not only reduce your waste but also lower your carbon footprint.

This fee does not include any purchases that need to be made. The fee is for an online service, in-person consultancy and installation is available at an additional fee.

Zero Waste Office or Work Space Advice

The office can often accumulate a lot of waste. It can often be trickier if there is a lot of people in the same workspace with different sustainability levels. Sometimes you just need an extra helping hand to determine where your office or workspace are in this journey. We will meet you where you are at and guide you step by step through the process to a more sustainable office environment.

Sustainable Packaging Solutions

Reducing your business packaging can be intimidating and often confusing. Especially with a lot of green washing to go through. We look at your current packaging solutions and find ways to reduce or eliminate on packaging wherever possible. This will not only lead to saving in the future, but can also benefit your customers.

We meet our clients where they are at in their sustainable journey and assist them to identify gaps, opportunities and provide solutions to help them on their journey.  I have worked with many organisations globally, including Azraq, Nespresso, Costa Coffee, Expo2020 and Dubai International Airport, to drive environmental and sustainable change in their organisations and communities.

  • Selected as one of twelve environmental thought leaders in the UAE

  • Awarded Most Sustainable Design, People’s choice award as well as the highly commended design for Surge's Design Dine, Make A Difference Gala’s

  • Waste Me Not Challenge, Where I wore my trash for 30 days to create awareness
  • Ran a number of very successful workshops at Expo 2020, where I provided their employees with hands-on, practical ways they can live a sustainable lifestyle, both in the works place and at home.
  • The Last Straw Project in collaboration with Costa Coffee and Dubai Airports for World Environment day. I created a 2x2x2m sculpture made from single-use plastic straws and assisted with their strategy to switch their straws to a more sustainable option.
  • UselessUtensils campaign in collaboration with Azraq to create more awareness around single-use utensils and for companies to only include it when asked for and not given out automatically.
  • Opening of the Sustainable City's sustainable art studio.
  • Arranging one of the first fine-dining zero-waste dinners and art exhibitions at Boca in collaboration with Sea Change and Jo Ruxton, the Producer of A Plastic Ocean.
  • Nespresso's Mother's day campaign to create more awareness and tell the story of their capsules and the value of recycling or upcycling rather than throwing it away.
