Crazy birds, without any further ado, I would like to welcome, Maria Sobh, Rijal Hikmatullah and Yadhushan Mahendran.
1.What is one social media platform that you follow?
2.What is your hope for mama earth going forward?
That Mama Earth can understand why we made her go through a lot and that us humans need our own learning curve before giving back to Mama Earth, but I also hope that that learning curve does not permanently destroy it and I really also hope that the animals understand.
3.What advise can you give our crazy birds this week to help out mama earth?
Take at least one step toward sustainability and go buy an aluminium straw and just take it everywhere you go.
4.What is one sustainability fact that you like to use in a room with people not yet on a sustainability journey?
Up to 90% of materials used in a mobile phone can be recycled.
If we can make a tray sustainable and that sustainability could save millions of dollars and 30,000 tons of carbon footprint, so even a small impact can make a big difference. So don’t be afraid to start.
5.Where can people find you?
Key Take Away
“Just because one of the market leaders said no as sustainability came at a price, we didn’t stop at it and agree with them. “
In the field of sustainability, we often find that the costs might be higher and that there might be times that we get approached to change our values and projects to fit in with larger corporations. However, stick to your gut and make sure you continue to do things because it is that right thing to do and not because it is what is paying more at this stage.
